Soapdia is a small soap studio in Singapore. This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website or order from us.
This website does not collect your details
There is no checkout, no account to create and no payment on this site. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or card details here, and there is no form that sends anything to us.
Your order basket stays on your device
When you add soaps to your order, the list is saved in your own browser using local storage, so it is still there if you move between pages. It never reaches us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to send your order on WhatsApp.
When you message us
If you order or ask a question on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email, we see whatever that service shows us — usually your name or handle, your phone number or email address, and your messages. We use it only to answer you and to handle your order, including the delivery address you give us.
We keep those messages in the app they arrived in so we have a record of your order. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list. WhatsApp, Instagram and email are run by other companies under their own privacy policies.
Payment
Payment is by PayNow, arranged directly with you after we confirm your order. We never see or store your card or bank details, and no payment is taken through this website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and tells us things like which page you came from and roughly where in the world you are. We use it only to understand what is useful on the site. You can block it with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and the site works normally either way.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above. Your order basket uses local storage rather than a cookie, and is not shared with anyone.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@soapdia.com and we will sort it out.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
